Short characteristics of the site: Small, abandoned quarry where ryolite lava was mined. Today, exposed wall is dangerous due to rock fall.Close to the locality, exposed fault bears the Furong ryolites against metasediments of Proterozoic age. Fault can be seen SE of the quarry, in the Úpořský potok bed.
